Ellen Beamish
Ellen Beamish is a Limerick-based singer-songwriter and producer who crafts heartfelt indie rock steeped in teenage daydreams, self doubt, and the ache of not feeling good enough. With a sound that blends vulnerability and grit, ‘Walk Over Me’ channels the raw emotion of shyness into melodies that linger long after the last chord fades. ‘Walk Over Me’ is an ethereal indie rock track steeped in the quiet introspection of standing up for yourself. Drawing inspiration from bands like Wolf Alice, Placebo and Garbage and Irish acts such as Cliffords and Dea Matrona, Ellen's music reflects a raw and heartfelt approach to the indie genre.
In October 2023, she joined the Dublin-based band SPEAKERS, where she has taken on the role of lead guitarist and co-producer for their latest singles, Hard2Sleep and Fight Like A Man. Her live performances with the band has seen her perform at some of Ireland’s most iconic venues, including Whelan’s, Fred Zeppelins, and The Ol’55.
Currently working on her solo debut EP, scheduled for release this summer, Ellen’s artistry continues to evolve with each new track. As Ellen Beamish continues to build momentum in her musical journey, she is gearing up for an exciting year ahead.
