Eat the Frog

Eat the Frog is the folk group of Jack Joyce and Síofra Mauerhofer. The pair spent two years in Manchester,
where they gigged full-time on the pub circuit, and have just moved back home to Dublin.

At the heart of their sound are close vocal harmonies and warm acoustic textures built around mandolin, tin
whistle and guitar. Together they weave character-driven narratives with moments of sharp social
commentary. Their songs balance traditional folk arrangements with subjects firmly rooted in the present
day, offering a reflective and wry perspective.
