Earth-o-Naut

Earth-o-Naut is a songwriter, drummer, musician and producer.

Drums were the first instrument that Earth-o-Naut took to. Having the ability to play them from an early age.
This gave birth to his love of the groove, listening to Zigaboo Modeliste playing with The Meters, Allen Toussaint and Dr. John.
The Funk Brothers of Motown fame and Al Jackson JR and the other players in the Stax house band were also on constant rotation.
A little bit later, Earth-o-Naut started to appreciate the drummers and players with Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charles Mingus and Dave Brubeck to name but a few.

Songwriting has always been a constant. That quest to create something original and use the songwriting process as some form of catharsis.
Learning guitar and piano was the next logical step, to help with the creation of new ideas into new songs.
A lot of time was spent playing drumming gigs and then taking his own songs on the road, solo with just an acoustic guitar, learning the ropes and serving his apprenticeship.
Great songwriters The Beatles, Curtis Mayfield, Bill Withers, Neil Finn and many others inspire Earth-o-Naut to this day.

March 2024 saw Earth-o-Naut announce himself to the big, wide world as an artist in his own right with his debut single 'Call Me'.
Lots of airplay on Jazz FM, spending numerous weeks on their coveted A-List Playlist, saw him gain traction and popularity.
Acid Jazz in the UK released his song, 'This Is Day One' and also included it on their iconic Totally Wired compilation series.
Remixes for the excellent Dee C Lee and her song 'Back In Time' and Mama Terra's 'A Mind Supreme', also followed.

Earth-o-naut has worked hard on his studio chops and is the writer, arranger, recording engineer, mix engineer and producer on all of his own material, and he also works with other artists as a producer.

In February 2026, Earth-o-Naut signed a recording deal with German based label, Agogo Records. With worldwide distribution being taken care of by !K7.
The first bit of business in this new partnership together was the single 'There's Nothing Above Music and Love', which was released on February 6th. It spent six weeks on the Jazz FM A-List Playlist, as well as being their Track of the Week on release.
New single 'Everything. All At Once. All Of The Time.' was released on April 24th.

Earth-o-Naut was a nominee in the Breakthrough Act of the Year category at this years prestigious Jazz FM Awards, which took place on April 16th at Koko in London.

Earth-o-Naut's debut album, 'This Is Nowhere. This Is Everywhere.' will be released on Agogo Records on 29th May 2026.
The debut album features UK drumming legend, Steve White (The Style Council, Paul Weller, Oasis, The Who), and also the soulful vocals of Amalia Estradas.

2026 will also see Earth-o-Naut take his songs on the road and play live shows with slots on London Jazz Festival and Love Supreme Festival to follow.
