Eamon Brady

Alternative // Donadea, Kildare

For over twenty years, Eamon Brady has been a quiet force in Irish music – producing, mentoring and shaping the sound of others. A lifelong musician, multi-instrumentalist and trusted collaborator, he has contributed to acclaimed records by Junior Brother, Dave Clancy, David Kitt, Thomas Kitt, the Spook of the 13th Lock and many more. He’s helped countless emerging artists find their voice, while keeping his own just out of frame.

Now, the spotlight shifts to his own songs.

‘Our Hands’ – the first release from his upcoming album Half Light – builds with a measured, magnetic pull. Centred on an intricate, odd-meter guitar figure, it drifts between the tangible and the dreamlike: hypnotic drums, shifting sequences and extended bass give way to an instrumental turn that catches you off guard. Lyrically, it tilts towards the glaring imbalances we notice, yet still carry with us. At its core is Brady’s voice: warm, intimate, unmistakable, carrying the melody with calm directness.

Half Light (LP) – out November 7 2025 – is patient, unvarnished, and quietly intense, shaped in the still hours between late nights and early mornings. These are songs for the half-lit moments, when the surface is calm but the undercurrent runs deep.
