Dàwna (taken from the Irish word ‘Dána’ meaning ‘bold’) is a folk/ pop artist from Tipperary.

His Second EP ‘The Swallows’ EP (Oct. 2025) has racked up over 500,000 streams independently on Spotify alone.

The Irish Times named him as ‘One to Watch’ in 2024,

2025 saw him on a debut UK Tour opening for Jamie McIntyre, A Headline London Show, 2 Irish headline Shows in Dolan’s Limerick & The Coole Gallery Gort, opening for Darren Kiely in Limerick Milk Market & The Wexford Opera house & Opening for Gearoid McCarthy & Lyra in Galway’s Black Box Theatre.

2026 is set to be his biggest year yet with breakthrough single ‘Damhsa Le Mo Chailín’ resonating massively online, setting the scene for his next EP ‘The Damhsa EP’ in March.
