Cristina Movileanu

Cristina Movileanu is a Dunshaughlin-based singer-songwriter and visual artist. Originally from Moldova and holding a Master’s in Graphics, Cristina brings a visual artist’s perspective to her music, creating poetic songs inspired by her heritage and her father’s creative legacy.

Working in collaboration with professional producers and musicians at Musiversal, Cristina has developed an extensive catalog, including 10 original songs and several acoustic versions already released internationally. Her music is characterized by emotional storytelling, most notably in her single 'Father', which features versions in English, Romanian, and an acoustic arrangement. Other releases include 'Lavender Moon', 'Beauty Cleanse The Mind', 'Full Moon', 'Ghost of You', 'River Rain', and 'All About You'. Her collaborative work includes 'Highway' (feat. Makacha) and 'Moonchild Dreams' & 'Child of November', both collaborations with Japanese artist Tetsu Atsumi.

Her work has been featured in Hot Press Magazine and select international music blogs. Her songs have also received airplay on regional and community radio stations such as Cork’s Red FM, LMFM, Dundalk FM, and Dublin South FM, as well as international stations like Local Sound in Australia.

As an active member of the local arts community, Cristina was a featured interviewee and performer at the Drogheda Songwriting Festival and participated in the Irish Singer-Songwriter Compilation CD.
She has performed at venues such as McCarthy’s and is currently preparing new material, including an upcoming collaboration with Keith McLoughlin. She remains dedicated to evolving her craft and sharing her unique perspective within the Irish music scene.
