coldcall, aka Kildare's Cormac Dowdall, released his debut EP 'day_01' on local label 045 Recordings on Friday September 23 2022. Texturally dense, the release showcases Dowdall's deep engagement with his source material, honed with a Master's degree in Experimental Sound Practice. The EP is at times dark and relentless, at others playful and open, combining influences from the worlds of bass music, IDM and found sound.
