Castlebar's own musical talent, Chris Cresham, is gearing up for an electrifying year in 2024, filled with new music. He has already started the year on the right foot selling out his headline gig in his hometown in Garbo's Venue in February 2024. Drawing inspiration from his experiences abroad, including a stint in Cyprus where he honed his skills as a songwriter and performer, Chris has embraced opportunities to collaborate with renowned figures such as ex Voice of Ireland star Liam Geddes and rising band Kingfishr’s producer Patrick O’Donnell from Limerick.

The Irish songwriter merges modern indie pop and folk with an eccentric poise unique to him. He's opened for prominent artists like Chasing Abbey, Michael Moloney, and Hudson Taylor. His latest track, ‘Back To You,’ has gained national radio play from Today FM, iRadio, and 98FM.These collaborations have lead to the creation of tracks that have amassed over 120 thousand streams in total on Spotify and gained him over 10 thousand monthly listeners.

His next track 'I Wish' will drop on April 5th with the main focus to remain consistent with new music releases, keeping momentum of building a reliable fanbase on social media, finding management/label to take things to the next level and taking as many opportunities to perform live at festivals and headline gigs with his newly formed band that has years of experience performing on big stages.
