Formed in February 2022, Belfast-based noise-rock group O.S.G. lie somewhere in between Herbie Hancock and Merzbow. Self-described as ‘chimpcore’, O.S.G. tackle the darker underbelly of the creative experience with a sharp sense of satire, informed by the experiences of an autistic person's growth from childhood to adulthood.
Having finalised a stable lineup in 2024, the group have placed their focus on steadily growing a cult-like fanbase in Belfast. This has led to them opening for some of Ireland’s best artists - most notably Problem Patterns (Belfast) and girlfriend. (Dublin).
Off the back of a successful run of support slots in venues across their maiden city and two single releases in 2025, the group are working towards a number of larger releases in 2026, with the release of their debut EP, ‘PROTEST COMEDY’, pencilled in for release in summer 2026.
