Carly Z

Originally from the USA, Carly first came to Ireland in 2016 and currently lives in Galway. Her music fuses her natural curiosity about life, a love of reading (in particular the stirring words of James Baldwin), and questions of identity and Americanness, resulting in a devastatingly honest lyrical journey amidst hard-hitting, distinctly modern instrumentals. Carly plays guitar and piano and is also a composer.
