My name is Bobby Ho, and I am a 21 year old musician from Grangeford in Carlow, currently studying
in 4th year of the BA in Popular Music degree in the Cork School of Music. I’ve been a singer my
entire life, picking up piano at six years old and the guitar two years ago.
I started writing my own original songs about two years ago, which at the time was primarily inspired
by the music of Amy Winehouse, and while Amy Winehouse still influences me today, I’ve since
begun listening to hip hop and R&B, namely Jazmine Sullivan and Summer Walker. I’ve also recently
been inspired by RAYE, and the success of her debut album really inspired me as an independent
artist.
