Bird Alone

Bird Alone is a collaborative musical project between Jack McCarthy and Eimear Lynch. Having performed together on the Dublin folk and trad scene for the better part of a decade, the COVID 19 lockdowns saw the pair sit down to start working on original material.

With a collection of songs, acoustic instruments, and rudimentary knowledge of home recording, they set forth to document the results. The fruit of this labour, their debut album - Haven't Seen You in Days - will be released in April 2024.

Bird Alone draw on influences from folk, Americana, and traditional Irish music, written and performed for the pure enjoyment of creating something out of nothing.
