BE GRAND

Dublin-based electronic duo BE GRAND (Cathal Dunne aka Guv and Franz Gro aka Signor Blitz) craft a unique blend of German electronic music infused with a touch of Irish wit.
Cathal, an established DJ and electronic music producer from Dublin met Franz, a Berlin native with a diverse musical background spanning percussion, blues, and garage rock, on the day of their first gig in 2022. Together they create a sound that seamlessly connects the emotive power of songwriting with the propulsive energy of electronic beats.

Think hypnotic basslines that meet soaring vocals, intricate synth textures interwoven with organic instrumentation, and a playful sense of humor that keeps things grounded. In collaboration with various artists and friends across Europe, BE GRAND aren't afraid to blur the lines between live performance and electronic production, creating an immersive experience that translates from intimate venues to clubs to festival stages for their upcoming release tour.

With a nod to the pioneering spirit of Caribou, Tame Impala, Frank Moody and Bicep, BE GRAND are carving out their own space in the electronic music landscape.
