April Cleary

April Cleary is an Irish indie-folk singer-songwriter who has been writing songs for over ten years. Drawing inspiration from artists like Billy Joel and Lizzy McAlpine, April puts vulnerability at the heart of her music. Her songs explore love, loss, and self-discovery with honesty and grace, projecting a signature sound that blends soul-stirring melodies, catchy hooks and thought-provoking candid lyrics.

April has performed in many Irish venues, including BelloBar, The Walled Garden in Marlay Park, Moran Park, The Grand Social, and The Harbour Bar in Bray. She released her debut single 'Jitters' in November 2025 and her second single ‘Midnight’ in April 2026, which aired on multiple radio stations, including RTÉ Radio 1 (Folk on One), RTÉ Radio 2 (The New Music Show) and RedFM (Green on Red).

April released her debut EP ‘Cautious’ on 20 May 2026. Recorded between home and Mobius Studios in Bray, the EP consists of four acoustic tracks featuring voice and guitar, which she celebrated with an intimate launch gig in Volume Records & Books to a jam-packed room.
