Annie-Dog

Alternative // Dublin City, Dublin // she/her

Annie-Dog embraces a wholly DIY ethos, influenced by a plethora of fellow idiosyncratic artists including Alex G, Dean Blunt and Imogen Heap, self-producing all her material and crafting bittersweet shapeshifting pop tracks that occupy a mesmerising world somewhere between Grimes and PinkPantheress.

Debut single 'The Pressures of the Heart' was released via UK indie label Dance to the Radio to significant acclaim. The track was supported by Spotify on several editorial playlists including New Music Friday UK & Sweden, Our Generation, Melomania, A Breath of Fresh Eire and Alternative Ireland. Radio support from BBC6, 2FM 'Track of the Week', BBC Introducing, SiriusXM and press support from Dork, DIY, So Young, Nialler9, Hot Press, Fader etc. Her following two EPs received similar support from streaming platforms, radio and press.

Release day of her debut single also saw Smashing Pumpkins share the track to their 1 Million followers and lead singer Billy Corgan reach out directly to congratulate her on the track and share on his socials. She is sitting down to record a podcast episode with him in the near future.

Annie-Dog was RTE2FM rising star 2025. The same year she played various shows including Pitchfork Paris, Forbidden Fruit, Beyond the Pale, Other Voices Cardigan, Live at Leeds, SXSW Austin, and more. Her debut headline in Whelan's (January 2026) sold out. Having previously gigged with supporting session musicians, her current live solo performance is definitely more true to her sound. It is clear Annie-Dog is an artist who continues to evolve.

End of 2025 saw Annie-Dog sign to Communion Music on a publishing deal. She is currently working on new music which is to be released later on this year.

Annie-Dog made her debut TV appearance in March this year with Other Voices Dingle on RTÉ2 alongside Chalk, Miles Kane, and Travvy, where she performed two tracks and sat for an interview with host May Kay. Her next performances will be at this year's Great Escape festival in Brighton.
