anamoe drive

Indie // Dublin // He/Him

anamoe drive is the solo moniker of songwriter & multi-instrumentalists Oisín Leahy Furlong, who is also known as the lead singer of Irish psych-pop band THUMPER.

Fresh off the heels of the first track “Goodbye & Goodluck” garnering attention for it’s distinct brand of lo-fi indie meets alt folk on KEXP and beyond, anamoe drive released the debut album “Breakfast in Bed” on March 8th 2024 via Faction Records. This was followed by a national tour and support slots with The Murder Capital and Palehound, as well as performances at festivals such as Other Voices, All Together Now and Electric Picnic.

In 2025 the follow up LP "thank god it's friday" was self released along with a series of music videos directed by Greg Purcell. The album was a more restrained acoustic effort which included a cover of Daniel Johnston's song Walking The Cow, as well as The Rip - a song which was released concurrently with a THUMPER version on the same day. The rollout culminated in a fully acoustic show in The Grand Social.
