“Lovely” – Simon Le Bon (Duran Duran)

Dublin based Alpine Skies picked up considerable glances from quite the famous fan with their debut release in 2025, and continued to grow on those advances, as the year progressed. The band blends indie rock, post-Britpop, and electronic rock elements with a strong foundation in guitar-based songwriting. A project rooted in melody and emotion, fusing storytelling and cinematic sounds, often described as having a hazy, atmospheric quality, and known for its cinematic, emotionally resonant nature.

Since that debut release, the band have been earning praise from the likes of Hot Press, Pure M Magazine, The Beat, RTE 2XM, Red FM, Dublin City FM locally, to also acquiring the aforementioned international praise and attention of Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon on his Whooosh! (Sirius XM) radio show out in L.A, and more.

Their debut album, “Inspired Conflicts”, is set for release early April 2026, with this event showcasing the fruits of those works.
