ALKY MUSIC

ALKY is an indie rock artist from Dublin, Ireland, whose songs draw deeply from the raw challenges of relationships, recovery and personal experience. With echoes of The National’s emotional gravity, U2’s anthemic spirit, and the cinematic sweep of Arcade Fire — ALKY creates music that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.

Fresh from his debut headline show with MCD Productions at Whelan’s Upstairs on 3 April 2026, which sold out in advance, ALKY played all 6 Rock Against Homelessness events across Ireland in March 2026, including at The 3Olympia Theatre on March 17th 2026. Reflecting his growing presence within Ireland’s indie rock scene, he supported Paddy Casey and Kíla at Cyprus Avenue on 13 March.

His development has been remarkable rapid, spanning just under two years. His debut single in August 2024, 'Dirty Tricks’, introduced listeners to his signature style—an infectious blend of uptempo rock and introspective lyrics.

His follow-up release in September 2024, 'All Because of Love', further showcased ALKY’s ability to combine vibrant rock with themes of melancholy and loss. The track was chosen two weeks in a row on the prestigious RTE Radio One Recommends Play list.

‘Perfect,' the third single released in November 2024, explores the complexities of relationships and self-discovery, themes that resonate strongly in his work. Sonically, ‘Perfect’ is as bright as it is atmospheric, brimming with piano hooks, synth and suspenseful string arrangements.

A further 5 tracks were released in early 2025 which received praise from critics and industry peers alike. His debut album, 'Rinse & Repeat', followed in Oct 2025.

In March 2026, ALKY yet again made it on to the RTE Radio One Recommends Play list, with his new single, 'Dreams.' The track has since garnered extensive national airplay, reinforcing his growing standing within Ireland’s indie rock landscape.

With backing from MCD Productions, additional releases planned, and a busy touring schedule ahead, 2026 is poised to mark another significant milestone for ALKY.
