Singer-songwriter // Dublin // She/her

Aisling is an emerging Irish singer-songwriter whose music lives in the quiet, honest spaces between emotion and memory. Writing in both English and Irish, her work blends indie folk sensibilities with stripped-back acoustic arrangements, creating a sound that feels both intimate and deeply rooted.

After graduating from the TUD conservatoire of music, Aisling began travelling and there found her voice as a songwriter. Her songs are built around gentle guitar lines, layered vocal harmonies, and a voice that carries both fragility and strength. Drawing inspiration from traditional Irish storytelling as well as contemporary indie and folk influences, Aisling creates music that feels timeless yet personal.

At the heart of her songwriting is a commitment to truth. Each piece is shaped by first-hand life experiences — a way of processing, understanding, and giving voice to the complexities of growing up, navigating relationships, and confronting inner struggles. Themes of vulnerability, identity, healing, and resilience run through her work, often delivered with a quiet intensity that invites listeners to sit with their own emotions.

In 2025, Aisling was shortlisted for Glór Ár Linne, a Creative Ireland, Raidió Rí-Rá, and Dublin City Council initiative supporting musicians who create in Irish. This inspired a new side to Aisling’s songwriting, allowing her to connect more deeply with her heritage while expressing feelings that don’t always translate easily into English. This bilingual approach adds a unique texture to her music, bridging the past and present in a way that feels both personal and universal.

Whether performing live or recording, she creates an atmosphere that is soft yet powerful — where silence, space, and sincerity are just as important as melody. Her music doesn’t seek to overwhelm; instead, it offers a place of reflection, comfort, and understanding for those who need it most.
