Affection to Rent

Rock // Dublin, Dublin // She/Her (Abbey)

Affection to Rent blend dark, ethereal vocals with a warm wash of nostalgia. First unveiled in their grungey first singles If We Fall and Cathedral, both chosen by Dan Hegarty for RTÉ 2fm's track of the week, the five-piece stand out as one of Ireland's most contagious emerging acts.

Fontaines D.C. members handpicked frontwoman Abbey Addenbroke-Sheriff for their scholarship place: “She’s brilliant – it’s exciting to hear such raw talent.” Carlos O’Connell for NME.

Recognised for their otherworldly, cathartic sets, Affection to Rent have played festivals including Ireland Music Week, All Together Now, The Great Escape, Borderline, and 2000 Trees Festival, supported Gurriers, Rocket, Snõõper, Friko, and Feeble Little Horse. The band were longlisted for the Glastongury emerging talent competition and most recently, sold out their debut headline show.
