Abbie Courtney

Abbie Courtney is a 17-year-old singer-songwriter from Kerry, Ireland, known for honest, emotionally driven songwriting and a sound that sits between indie pop and singer-songwriter.

Inspired by artists including Gracie Abrams, Phoebe Bridgers, Lizzy McAlpine and Sienna Spiro, Abbie’s music focuses on growing up, relationships, overthinking and the messier parts of being young, with lyrics that are personal without trying to make everything sound perfect.

In early 2026, Abbie released her fifth single “not so sweet sixteen” and followed it with “it’s over now”. She has received airplay from Radio Kerry, performed on RTÉ’s Six O’Clock Show, and opened for Emma Langford at Folk Fest Cahersiveen. She was also selected as one of four Kerry finalists for Radio Kerry and Hot Press’ New Local Hero competition.
