"david ofmg" is a solo dream pop and shoegaze artist based in Dublin and originating from Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

Taking inspiration from a wide variety of sources from emo to dream pop to shoegaze, David has crafted a sound that is both ambient, yet catchy, with a strong emotional undercurrent. Through a myriad of life experiences, David is able to approach difficult topics in his songwriting with dignity and deference in a way that resonates deeply with audiences.

David released his debut EP “for what it’s worth” in June 2023 which included the popular singles “note to myself”, “city”, “it all remains the same again” and the final single “somewhere”. The EP was covered by multiple media outlets such as Hot Press Magazine, Nialler9, The Last Mixed Tape, PureMZine, IMRO, RTE.ie and Independent.ie. The EP also got a lot of radio play from stations such as RTE 2FM, iRadio, Amazing Radio UK, Amazing Radio USA and Sirius XM.
