Wounded Bear

Wounded Bear is a trio of musicians with a shared love for the music of the late great John Martyn.

John Martyn produced some of the most beautiful and heart-felt songs of his generation and our aim is to perform these songs with the same passion and resonance that was apparent at the many shows he performed. The John Martyn Experiment is made up of bass player Paul Johnson , guitarist Mark Sullivan and vocalist John Conneely.
