Rock // Drogheda, Louth

The Profile are a pop rock foursome from Louth, Ireland. They currently have a two track demo for free download called "the rooskey session". Together they take influence from Talking Heads, REM, Thin Lizzy, U2, Biffy Clyro and Elbow. They play regular live shows to fund future releases and grow a fan base.

The Profile formed when brothers Sean and Brian got together with best friend Bob to start a band. Soon drummer Alan joined after answering an online advert. After this they started to jam and delved into songs Sean had written. And after starting off with Sean’s work, the guys got their own mojo working on brand new songs. After a year under the name Strange Glue (where they released an EP "life in the buslane") a free demo titled “the rooskey sessions” surfaced. This was followed by gigs around Ireland.

The Profile jump between the covers circuit and original showcases to keep busy. Currently the band have a single "so good to be home" set for release in December 2012 and are starting work on their new EP early in 2013.
