The Coonics, whose music has been described as “devotional, inspirational and a small biteen naughty”, are a new four-piece band from Tuam. Since their first gigs in August 2008 the band have continued to play around the West of Ireland and have gathered a loyal following along the way.

Their song Skinny Jeans,has recieved airplay from Ian Dempsey on the Todayfm Breakfast Show and also from local radio station i102-104. Their first year has seen them play support to The Sawdoctors on their Irish Tour and have shared the stage with the Republic of Loose and The Chakras playing many established venues all over Ireland along the way.
