Patterns is the solo project of Garry Toner, and is an alternative electronica act based in Drogheda Co. Louth. The project has been developing in various forms the past two years as the sound was explored and crafted, drawing from such influences as Depeche Mode, New Order, Moby, M83, The Knife and Portishead. In that time Patterns has played support to such Irish bands as After the Explosions, Herm, We Cut Corners and Fredrick & the Golden Dawn.
In 2011, Garry recorded and released his debut record, the EP "Werewolves in their Youth", a seven-track exploration of night-time, isolation, nostalgia and lost youth.
The EP was recorded @ the Satellite Heart Studios. Mixed and Produced by Garry Toner. Mastered by David O'Brien @ La-Le-Lu-Li-Lo Studios.
