No Monster Club
No Monster Club is the cartoonish art-pop brainchild of Dublin's Bobby Aherne, an act that has already produced several records containing "the kind of tunefulness that makes a joke of so much contemporary pop music" (The Irish Times), and a slew of summery singles that have been compared to "a stripped-down, sugar high Pet Sounds" (NYLON Magazine).
Aherne and his live bandmates (members of the acclaimed 'Popical Island' collective) have also toured across Europe & The USA, appeared on Irish and American TV, recorded a radio session on legendary station WFMU, released records with a number of prestigious indie labels, and shared a stage with the likes of The Polyphonic Spree, Wavves, HEALTH, Jeffrey Lewis and Ariel Pink.
