Loyal Cuckoo reborn again........... After going through 2 sets of band members since the birth of Loyal Cuckoo in 2011, Dave Fagan the founder of the project, decided to Captain the Ship alone and gather musicians from the Traditional background of the Irish music scene to create what will be the core sound and voice of Loyal Cuckoo.

Spending almost a year working with the old members of the Loyal Cuckoo band! traveling and playing the festival scene and music venue's all round Ireland.
Emotions got tired and personalty's clashed as persona's got more important than the music. It was time for change.

The song's of Loyal Cuckoo are written by David Fagan originally from co.Meath. His musical journey was inspired during 2 years of isolation in the dark days in-which they call the boom year's. Leaving Ireland in 2005 to escape the silent be-trail, he left for Europe Australia and Asia with a backpack an guitar.

He came back to Ireland in 2007 to build a wooden Cabin for a family member in Roscommon, In the spring of 2008 he decided to spend the year traveling around Ireland attending as many of the fleadh cheoil as possible in the small town's in the west of Ireland, while busking wherever there was a pedestrian street...... All this time he spent learning the art of writing songs........... He later went back to study music in the Ballyfermot Music school. In which the first recordings of Loyal Cuckoo where captured
