Late Train began after a chance conversation over coffee between singer Jay Raw, originally from Rio de Janeiro, and guitarist Kev Murphy.  After it's acoustic beginnings in late 2011 and playing as a duo in Captain Americas, Italian bass player and good friend Luca Spissu joined in, followed later on by Brazilian guitarist Bruno Maia. Despite some tumultuous luck with various drummers needing to find themselves around the world, it looks as though this line-up has finally been completed with the addition of Reo Odirile on drums.

Late Train's sound is fused by their variety of backgrounds- from Jay's time in the Californian rock scene, Kev's experience in Canada, Luca's hard-rock influences, to Bruno's Brazilian-jazz.

Late Train steadily focus on shaping their songs, playing gigs both acoustically and as a full band, 
slowly building a reputation on the Dublin music scene. The summer of 2012 is set to see Late Train take hold of the reigns, mics, guitar pics and drumsticks, to rock a venue near you.
