Kick Out the Poets were formed in 2010 with Niall hetherington on vocals/guitar, Peter Watson on Drums, Kenneth Byrne on Guitar and Gavin Byrne on Bass.

The band recorded a rough 6 song demo ep in early 2010, from this recording you can hear the influences of punk, rock, and "pop".
