Fia Nic Riosa is a boho style electronic indie project based in Dublin.
The story of the album Blackmail started when a New York based electro house musician suggested Fia Nic Riosa to write lyrics and vocals for his project. So she did. Then she thought why not try arranging the recorded vocals in a completely different style?
Album Blackmail is a mix of vinyl-like boho sounds, creative drums and soft vocals. One can never tell if she's being ironic or serious in her lyrics but one can easily get carried away with the smoothness of the sound she produces.
