Factions are a Dublin based band who have recently released their debut E.P. 'Looms'.

The songs are simply woven with strong riffs and subtle building vocals.

Currently working on their album, Factions also recently played on the 2FM Hegarty Sessions. They have recently played at Knockanstockan and Electric Picnic. They supported Kopek on the last date of their European Tour in Whelans on the 29th of November.

More recently they were awarded best Alternative/Rock act in the 2012 MRU awards
