‘Creatures’ is the most recent project from multi-instrumentalist Conor Brennan. In 2009, having returned from living in New York for 9 months, Brennan was hungry to sink his teeth into a new musical venture.

The result was ‘The Rises & Falls from a Fly on the Wall’ E.P. (2010), a collection of stories which capture the beauty & complexity, the love & loss within relationships between family, strangers, insects & lovers. Written, arranged and predominantly recorded by Brennan himself, the songs incorporate a variety of instruments including acoustic, classical, electric & bass guitar, glockenspeile, clarinet, cello, vintage organs and piano, with a little help from some close friends from Dublin band’s ‘Reader’s Wives’, 'The Thrills', ‘The Chapters’ & 'TransAutoRadio'.

However it’s live that these songs truly come to life as Brennan’s rich and versatile voice tells these tales through melodic vocals & layers of harmonies while accompanied by a talented & rather interesting backing band.
