CLOCKWORK NOISE
BRAY, COUNTY WICKLOW
Bray five-piece Clockwork Noise described as "Fearless" by Rock Sellout (www.rocksellout.com)
have released their new EP, 'Yes and No and Everything In Between'.
The five-song EP is available now in record stores nationwide and online
(for purchase or download) priced €4.99.
Clockwork Noise fuse indie-alternative music and hook-driven violin lines, creating smart songs
with a pop edge. The band embrace varied and all-encompassing influences to produce
"a unique sound that will conquer many hearts" (Inner Ear).
They offer something rare in the world of straightforward guitar bands: meaningful lyrics,
dramatic vocals and an original sound. 'Yes and No and Everything In Between' brings all of
these attributes to the fore.
Clockwork Noise have previously released one full-length album, 'If I Wanted I Could', which is
available exclusively on iTunes, but the new EP signals a true explosion of the band’s sound.
Outside of the studio, Clockwork Noise's live shows “don’t disappoint” (Heineken Music) and
have been hailed as "a shivers up the spine experience" (Ranticular).
In July 2009 the band were featured in the new music section of 'The Ticket', with Jim Carroll calling them "a cut above the usual indie-rock standard".
Clockwork Noise are: Robert Maguire (Lead vocals, guitar), Dylan Nolan (Bass), Blathnaid Healy
(Violin, cello), Chris O'Connor (Backing vocals, guitar) and Michael Fenton (Drums).
