Formed in the summer of 2010 in Dublin city, BAQUE SOUL has gained a loyal and diverse following with outstanding performances and a dancing repertoire that has been recognised within the Dublin music scene. They have not gone unnoticed by the promoters and events managers of the country either as was proven by their invitation from the production team of the Brazilian rapper Marcelo D2 to perform as the opening band at one of the shows on his European tour and Vanessa da Mata brazilian singer recently.

The musicians come from Brazil, Ireland and Mexico and the band is formed by Susana Garcia and Juliana Durães on vocals, Patrick Groeland on guitar, Miguel Hoisel on bass, Angelo Garotti on the percussion and Jason Mcnamara on drums. They use their former experiences and musical influences to produce an interesting mixture of rhythms such as funk, soul, samba, pop, reggae and hip hop.
